This is a well made crossbow, quite sufficient for dispatching squirrels, rabbits, etc. The sites work well and it has plenty of power. It is easily cocked. You should use emery cloth on the top rail where the string is likely to touch metal, and then be sure to rub paraffin or a candle on the central area of the string and the top rail, to make your string last longer. Purchased the cobra pistol a couple of weeks ago. Like some other comments, I applied a few drops of glue (gorilla glue) to the entire length of the string. After I let the string dry I then applied a liberal amount of wax (I used some car wax) to the string and the rail the bullet sit on. Assembly was pretty simple with a little effort required to get the string on the bow, I’m not a big brawny guy however, a second person would probably make this part easier. Don’t forget to place the plastic cups on either end of the bow before installing the string, which I forgot to do the first time. – BbyronB “90XJ02TJ”
